eMail von meinem Projekt

Hab gerade eine eMail von meinem Projekt mit DOS und DONTS bekomme und meinem Stundenplan bekommen:

Project : Kaliyuva Mane, Alternative residential school for opportunity deprived children

DOS:

  1. Volunteers are advised to go through Brochure, Souvenir, Newsletters pertaining to organization so that they understand the aims and objectives of the organization.

    2. We firmly believe that best way to impart values to children is to create an environment of persons with values. So Divyadeepa requests volunteers to keep this in mind in all their interactions with children, other volunteers and staff of Divyadeepa.

    3. Volunteers should take bath regularly. They should keep their rooms clean and tidy. In short they should be role models to children with respect to Hygiene and Organisation of materials.

    4. Volunteers are requested to use Electrical Power and Water carefully. Please remember, in Karnataka all villages have power supply only for 5 hours to 8 hours per day.

    5. All volunteers are requested to discuss their problems with the mentor. If mentor is busy, there will be a book dedicated for volunteers. Volunteers are requested to use the book for their suggestions, requirements, feedback etc.

    6. Volunteers should display the spirit of volunteerism in their day-to-day work In the interest of the beneficiaries (children) volunteers should be prepared to do any small / big job assigned to them.

    7. Volunteers should seek the permission of the mentor before leaving the campus.

    8. Whenever volunteers leave Divyadeepa campus, they should enter the time in “Movement register” maintained for them. Similarly they should enter the time when they return to Divyadeepa campus. Campus gate closes at 8.00 PM.

    9. Volunteers should work with true spirit of volunteerism. In case of contingency volunteers should be in a position to take up any responsibility depending on the need of the organization.

DONTS:

  1. Use of Tobacco / Intoxicants in any form is strictly prohibited.
  2. Alcohol in any form is strictly prohibited.
  3. Use of non-vegetarian food (including eggs) is not allowed inside the campus. If they wish volunteers can have non-vegetarian food outside the campus.
  4. Volunteers should not interfere in the administrative matters of the organization.
  5. In the campus broad band net connection is not available. Available dial up connection is used for project’s administrative purposes only.
  6. Volunteers will not be allowed to drive project’s vehicles.
  7. Volunteers should not allow children into their rooms.
  8. Volunteers should not give gifts / money to children / staff members directly. They can discuss the issue with the mentor.

    9. Please do not disturb children when they are studying.



    Daily Schedule : ( Tentative )

    5.50 am Wake up

    6.00 am – 6.30 am Yoga

    6.30 am – 10.00am Bath + Cloth washing + Room cleaning etc.

    Breakfast

              Teaching children organizing skills + Health & Hygiene + Conversing with children in English

              Informally + Teaching them work culture +

              Children care ( Children of age 7 to 17 years )

10.00 am – 11.00 am Reading (Rest)

11.00 am – 12.00 am Teaching / Library arrangement / Farm work

12.00 am – 1.00 pm Teaching / Kids Bank / Arrangement of materials

1.00 pm – 2.00 pm Lunch

2.00 pm – 3.00 pm Teaching / Working in income generation – Coconut

shell products, Hand made greeting cards etc.

3.00 pm - Tea and rest

4.00 pm – 6.00 pm Games with children ( Badminton etc.)

7.00 pm – 8.30 pm Documentation ( Office work )

8.30 pm Dinner

10.00 pm Lights off

Ui, 5.50 am Aufstehen, da ist das "lights-off" um 10 pm gar nicht zu frueh. Je nachdem, wann die 5h - 8h Strom sind, hat man da vielleicht auch keine Wahl ;-). Wann geht es dann zum Projekt?
